RN, Charge Nurse, Nursing Facility

Shift: Full Time, Weekend Doubles (6 a.m. - 10 p.m.)


Delivery and supervision of resident care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Supervises direct patient care personnel. Prepares and maintains records and reports as required.

Qualifications or Skills Required:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN license with the State of Texas. Long Term Care/Geriatric experience required and one year as a professional RN preferred. Current CPR certification is preferred. Must have advanced knowledge of nursing theories and practices. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Must be able to stand and/or walk for moderate periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional heavy lifting may be required when a resident becomes weak or helpless.
